A hero to me is someone who inspires people and does the right thing. My hero is Vincent van Gogh, who is one of the most famous influential artists of all time. He is my hero because he inspires me to do art, and in his life he was very unknown and poor, but after he died he became one of the most famous artists of all time.

Vincent van Gogh was born March 30, 1853 and died on July 29, 1890 when he was only 37. He suffered from mental illness, and he might have suffered from depression and anxiety. He loved art. Some of his most famous paintings are Starry Night, Sunflowers, and Irises. Even though he suffered from mental illness, he coped with it by making artwork.

He has inspired so many people through his artwork and has made 900+ paintings and 1,100+ drawing or sketches. He was usually very unhappy with his paintings, and that’s probably why during his lifetime he only sold one painting, which was Red Vineyard at Arles. The rest of his 900+ paintings were never sold or made famous until after his death.

His parents were Theodorus van Gogh and Anna Cornelia Carbentus. He had three sisters named Anna, Willemien, and Elizabeth, and had two brothers named Cor and Theo. His family was very poor during his childhood.

He died because he shot himself. This was caused because he thought his brother didn’t want to sell his art anymore.

I really admire him and I love his artwork. He sure wasn’t the richest or most famous during his life, but he has made an important impact on artwork today. He loved the colors and the feel of art, he loved putting his emotion on the canvas, he didn’t let anything stop him from what he loved, and I admire that because I want to be like that. He was so passionate, and that is why he is famous.
