Have you ever wondered who created Disney? Well, I know who it is and it’s Walt Disney. Walt Disney is inspiring to me. When Walt Disney started his career he had many bumps and hardships like not having success in his goals on the way but he never gave up. He believed that he could start Disney no matter what. It was his dream to start a company of his own and he wasn’t going to stop until he did it.

At sixteen Walt Disney dropped out of high school to join the army and serve his country but unfortunately, he didn’t get accepted. Walt still had his passion to serve so he joined the Red Cross where he drove ambulances around during World War One. Even though Walt worked in the Red Cross he still had a strong passion for drawing. Walt is known for his character Mickey Mouse who he kept drawing and never gave up. After the war, Walt started his own company called Laugh-O-grams which was screened and very popular in Kansas City.

Walt Disney always believed that “laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever”. Even though animations were a big hit in Disney they did not know how to handle their money. So Disney went bankrupt. Disneyland is a magical worldwide famous park. But Disneyland was a stressful disaster for Walt because of worker strikes and forged tickets. Disneyland is now back in action and more famous than ever proving that you should never give up on your dreams. 

All heroes are awesome in their own way like Walt, he accomplished many of his goals. Walt Disney does not know how many people he has affected in many ways by creating Disney. Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, and died on December 15, 1966. After Walt died, Disney was devastated that their best animator was gone and Disney wasn’t the same without him. But Disney is still running and very popular with kids and adults to this day. And has changed a lot in many different ways throughout the years.

Walt always said, “ All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”. When Walt created Mickey Mouse he did not know that it would live on to this day and be what people know him for. Walt was brave and he was never afraid to try new things and conquer his goals. Even after he went through so many obstacles he never gave up and it was all worth it in the end. This story tells us that we should never give up on our dreams and we should never be afraid to try new things.
