My definition of a hero is someone who many people look up to. A hero to me is someone who does things when they are not expected or seem inconceivable. I don’t think you have to be rich and famous to be a hero.
My hero is Stevie Wonder because he has done amazing things. He is a famous musician and civil rights activist. Stevie was born in Saginaw, Michigan, and then later moved to Detroit, Chicago. Stevie Wonder is still alive and healthy.
Stevie Wonder is important because he is a famous black musician who grew up in a time of segregation and racism. He was a civil rights activist. Stevie helped fight racism with his music. He used his fame to his advantage and helped to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. If it wasn’t for Stevie, then Mr. King’s birthday wouldn’t be a national holiday.
Stevie Wonder is important to me because I like music and I am a musician. He was a legendary musician and is very inspirational. He became blind when he was an infant. He started to play the piano at the age of six. Then at the age of eight, he started to play the bongo drums. He learned to read music using Braille. He has sold many albums because many people love his music. This is important to me because I hope to become a famous musician when I am older.
Stevie Wonder overcame impossible odds to become a successful blind musician and civil rights activist. He will always be remembered and looked up to by me. Stevie Wonder is my hero.
