Write about Your Hero After Reading a Biography or Autobiography

After reading about a hero, students use a graphic organizer for note-taking prior to writing a story about the hero.

Students choose a biography or autobiography about someone they consider a hero. Students fill out a graphic organizer that includes adjectives describing hero characteristics and actions the subject of the book portrays. Students use this graphic organizer as they write a story about their hero.
