Yue Li

Yue Li，Born in August 1980 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and enlisted in the army in August 1999. He became a fireman after he left the army and he put himself into the earthquake relief work. On May 31, 2008, he was 28 years old when he crashed into a mountain while carrying out the mission of transporting injured people.Since graduating from the Army Aviation Academy in 2003, Yue Li had flown 565 hours in total. He has successively participated in the 2007 China India Joint Military Exercise and with the recovery of Shenzhou VI spaceship's return capsule and other major flight missions. Also he is the only son in the family. At the beginning of 2008, before he could host his actual wedding ceremony, he passed away from the helicopter crash, and only  got his marriage certificate.
