CALL FOR ENTRIES – 2021 IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING AWARD - OCTOBER 1 DEADLINE
July 12, 2021 – LAGUNA BEACH CA - Submissions are being accepted for the 2021 Immersive Storytelling Award. The award honors innovative storytellers who use Virtual Reality, and other immerging technology, to create work that promotes social good. The award is part of the MY HERO International Film Festival. The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2021.
Last year there were two winners: The Atomic Tree by Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee & Adam Loften, a unique 360 video experience that promotes peace, and Anne Franks House. by ForcefieldXR - a remarkable virtual representation of the home of Anne Frank - awarded for its educational VR value.
The MY HERO International Film Festival is part of The MY HERO Project, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to sharing stories of heroes from all parts of the world. MY HERO's award-winning website (myhero.com) hosts the world's largest archive of hero-themed stories, music, art and short films.
