Albert Einstein

by Aaron from Glenbrook

“The process of scientific discovery is, in effect, a continual flight from wonder.”

My Hero is Albert Einstein. I picked him as my hero because he was determined and dedicated and he put so much pride in his work. Also, he made so many theories that could push the world farther into the future. Who knew what could be in store for man.

Well first of all he was born in Germany on March 14, 1879. One of his achievements was the earning honorary doctorate degrees in science, medicine and philosophy for his theories of relativity, motion, and physics. But he is best known for his theory E=MC2 . This theory helped the world understand light and how it passes through objects.

Also Albert Einstein was crowned “person of the Century” by Time magazine. Furthermore he helped the academic world with his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. This effect is known as “ The Transportation of Light”.

Earlier I said that Albert was dedicated; he was dedicated because of his strict father. He tried his hardest in school. Later when he went to make his theories, he thought about quitting but he stuck with it until he had finished and received a Nobel Prize for it. In a way he taught the world.

Albert Einstein took pride in his work. He loved science so much that, when he was a boy and his father showed him a compass, he was so fascinated by it that he studied it every day until he knew everything there was to know about it. So now you know why he said this quote: “The process of scientific discovery is, in effect, a continual flight from wonder.”
