Albert Einstein was a great person. He just started as a little boy who was born in Germany and moved to Italy. We all know that he grew up to be one of the most famous physicists ever, which comes to show us that he worked hard to come up with the Theory of Relativity, e=mc2. I am studying about him with a biography called "Giants of Science: Albert Einstein". The book has approximately 140 pages and was written in 2009. The book covers from the age that Albert was only a little tot until he was an elderly old man. This book was written by Kathleen Krull. She was born in Fort Leonard Wood, grew up in Wilmette Illinois, and graduated from Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette.

Albert Einstein born and grew up in Ulm, Germany. His parents were Pauline and Hermann Einstein and his sister was Maja Einstein. His father, Hermann Einstein came from Buchau, Germany, while his mother was born in Stuttgart, Germany. Albert Einstein went to university in the university of Zurich, after running away to France. Albert's father, Hermann Einstein, had a job to win contracts to provide other German towns with lighting, while his mother, Pauline Einstein, took care of young Albert. Albert was a trouble sometimes and had Autism. His sister, Maja, said that "It takes a sound skull to be the sister of an intellectual." She said this because Albert constantly threw things at her. Albert, as a young child loved his first compass. He almost treated it and loved it like it was a treasure. In fact, when he first had it in his hand, he was literally shaking. The compass led to an obsession, an obsession of figuring out a unified theory... a mathematical way to explain everything in the universe.

Albert Einstein had faced many challenges. Like his wife Maria's pregnancy and birth, an explosion in his lab, etc. But he kept at it and persevered. His wife, Maria, helped him with her "love notes", which were actually sheets of theories. Maria had troubles on her end too. Like her pregnancy and birth of Eduard Einstein. But Albert was able to push through and overcome the challenges. He was always intelligent, working hard, and making useful theories, like e=mc2, one of the two pillars of physics, and many more. Albert did start off rough as a child, for example when he threw a chair at his tutor, who quit on the spot. He won many awards, including the Nobel Prize, a Max Planck Medal, a Bernard Medal, a Franklin Medal, an honorary decree, the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society, the Copley Medal, and the Matteucci Medal.

I learned from Albert Einstein because he never gave up. After all, you can't just win the Nobel Prize by doing nothing, can you? He was one of my favourite scientists in my childhood. He has inspired me to raise my hopes of being a scientist. If I were to ask him a question, I would ask him how hard it was to come up with his theories, how it felt going away to Italy, and the meaning of why he decided to figure out the theories that he made. I would want to be his son because then I could learn so much about physics from him and I'd be really proud in the future. I think that the book that I read, "Giants of Science: Albert Einstein" was a great book. Lots of useful info was included in this book along with a huge number of 140 pages. The book told me lots about his life from a little tot to an old senior. The "chair throwing incident" that Albert had taught me to keep my temper a lot more. I am very glad that I chose Albert because he was an amazing person and woke me up to see who I really was. And that is why Albert Einstein is my hero.
