Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He was born on Sunday, February 12, 1809 in a long cabin near Hodgenville Kentucky. He lived in the woods and he also worked at a farm.
Abraham Lincoln became the president of the United States. He decided to free the slaves. He did that because he thought slavery was wrong.
Abraham is a hero to me because he made sure there was no more slavery.
