Abraham Lincoln is not only respected, but he is also a hero to the world. He is a hero because he had an interesting life, freed slaves, and he has many famous quotes. I look up to Abraham because if he didn’t free slaves the world will be a gigantic disaster!

One thing about Abraham Lincoln is that he is famous because he had an interesting life. He was born near Hodgenville, Kentucky on February 12, 1809. His mom died when he was 9. When he was president he was 6 ft and 4 inches tall! He married Mary Todd and had 4 boys. He became president in 1860. He also won re-election.

He was also famous because he freed slaves. He convinced the governors to stop slavery. After that, slaves were free from being slaves for white people. He also inspired citizens to keep up the struggle. He was very important to the slaves.

Abraham Lincoln is famous because his famous quote inspires citizens. I will list some quotes that he said. One quote that he said was “Beware of rashness, but with energy and sleepless vigilance go forward and give us victories.” Second quote he said is “Truth is generally the best vindication against slander.” He also said many famous quotes that were remembered.

In the summary, Abraham Lincoln is a hero because his life is interesting, he freed slaves, and so many things happened to him. I can’t imagine the world if he hadn’t freed slaves.
