Abraham Lincoln

Brave, Honest, Smart and loyal is Abraham Lincoln. He was born February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. He was smart and intelligent. In the old days he was not really rich, he lived in a log cabin. Before being president he was a lawyer for Illinois. He was in the Illinois state legislature. I admire him for all his achievements. Like he ended the civil war and declared and end to slavery in America and also became the 16th president.

Abraham Lincoln was a very honest person. He was president for a while but got assassinated on April 15th, 1865. He died for what he believed in. For all his bravery and honesty we have a holiday to remember all his achievements he did for America. He wrote a famous speech called "Gettysburg Address." He says "Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." This quote means every man can be equal and make right choices. He is also famous for all his words.

There's a lot to connect to with Abraham Lincoln. I connect with him by being honest some of the time and being brave. I'm not brave and honest all the time but i try to be as much as i could. I admire him for those achievements he did. He had nothing in the beginning but when he became president he got in the White House, ended the civil war and slavery. He later got assassinated for what be believed on April 15, 1865.

Abraham Lincoln is a brave honest man who believed in everything he did. He did tons of successful achievements for this country. i admire a lot of things he did and tried to do. Even though he didn't finish hes dreams i believe he's a true hero.
