Me and my mom at navy pier
Me and my mom at navy pier

There are many reasons why my mom is my hero. I didn’t just pick her to try to be nice. I picked her because she has seven traits that tell me she is my hero. These are the traits. She is respectful, kind, caring, responsible, organized, loving and a very hard worker.

She is respectful because she always says the right things. She even says the right things when she is mad, sad, disappointed, tired, or even frustrated. She also makes sure she never ever hurts anybody in any way.

She is kind because she pays attention to my brother, her students and me. She also never ever would make a bad choice that would hurt my brother, me or anyone else. She always tries her best and to be as nice as possible.

She is caring because she always makes people like my brother and I feel a lot better she also helps us with our problems. For example if we don’t understand something like a math problem she'll help us until we finally understand the problem. I know that she always tries her best in helping my brother and me.

She is responsible because she pays for our cars, our house, our heating, our cooling, our gas, our water, and our electricity. She even pays for my school money which is probably my education. She pays for my food and almost everything I own. If I would owe her 1 dollar for everything she bought me I would owe her about a trillion dollars.

My mom is organized in many ways. She keeps everything we own clean. From our cars to our house she is always there to keep it clean and organized. She is always on time to parties, reunions, family dinners and more. Like if she had a built in calendar or some sort of timer that told her when she had to leave and get to her destination. If she saw something dirty or not organized she would do all she could to get it to be how it’s supposed to be.

My mom is loving because she is always there to help you. She always takes time of her own to help you. She cooks, cleans, and works for my brother and me just so that we have a nice lives. Whenever my mom makes my birthday parties she doesn’t just go out and reserve a party room. She usually makes the party herself. She also spends a lot of time on other people and not just herself.

My mom is a hard worker because she works for every single dollar we have. She also never forgets about any of her work. She works six hours every day so we could eat healthy almost every day.

Some of my mom’s abilities are, she can swim really good, play volleyball and basketball. She can play tennis and racquetball, she can play the piano the flute, the recorder, the guitar and my mom can even sing. She can teach adults and students, she can clean our things, she can be a really good cook, but best of all she can be the best mom in the whole world. I just told you the reasons why my mom is my hero. She is respectful, kind, caring, responsible, organized, loving, and last but not least, a hard worker. Those are the reasons why my mother is my hero. Oh yeah, and my mom is also my hero because she also helped me finish this essay on time. I love my mom.

Extra Info

My mom was born in the city of Mexico. She was a very athletic girl. She loved to play all kinds of sports. At the age of 15 my mom joined a swimming team and took piano lessons. About one year later she joined a gymnastics team.

She didn’t like to compete when she was on the swimming team because she thought all the pressure was on her and if she messed up or lost the race everyone would be mad at her. By the time she joined the gymnastics team she had overcome this fear. She loved competing against other people and teams. She got many medals in her short time of gymnastics. At the age of 19 she began teaching in a little school in Mexico City. She taught there for about 26 years. Then my mom had to make a really tough choice. Go to United States and get paid more but be far away from our family. We were going to Illinois! About four years later my mom got her masters degree with great grades.

She had worked very hard and she also dedicated a lot of her time to her job.
