Angelina Jolie, born Angelina Jolie Voight, was born in Los Angeles, California, on the 4th of June, 1975, to Oscar winning actor Jon Voight, and actress Marcheline Bertrand. She is an actor. At age 11, she began studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Her nick name is Cat-woman. Her dream as a child was to become a funeral director. At 16 years old, Jolie worked as a professional model in London, New York and Los Angeles. In 2000, she married Billy Bob Thornton, but after they adopted a Cambodian boy Maddox, their marriage fell apart, and they divorced. Now, she is with famous actor Brad Pitt. On the 6th of July, 2005, Angelina adopted her second child, Zahara, from Ethiopia. Brad's request to legally adopt Maddox and Zahara went through, and their last names were changed to Jolie-Pitt. On the 27th of May, 2006, Angelina gave birth to Brad's child, named Shiloh. They have recently adopted a new child from Vietnam, a boy named Pax.
