Beka Feth

by Emily from San Diego

My Hero is Beka Feth; she is a missionary in Malawi, Africa. Someone in my hero's life that is important to her is her two adopted sons, Wongani, and Pilirani (Pete) who she adopted from Malawi.  I find Beka to be caring, determined, and inspiring. Feth) In this article, (The KALLYAS Template) provides details about "She teaches me something all the time," Valerie Feth said. "That's pretty amazing when your own child teaches you about ... giving, even when it's hard and difficult." (Courtney) Beka's mother, Valerie, is very proud of her daughter. She believes that this is the best thing that has ever happened to Beka.

(The KALLYAS Template) claims "Beka had been intrigued by Africa and the plight of the children there since she was first aware at the age 13."(KALLYAS Template)Beka has always been a caring person and has always been the one to be there for others "As Beka left Malawi for the second time, she left her whole heart behind, held in the hands of one tiny dark eyed little boy named Wongani"(KALLYAS Template) Even though Beka only knew Wongani for a few weeks, she feel in love and knew that she couldn't just leave him with his abusive father.

Some Events that has happened in her life, is the amazing experience of going to Malawi and meeting Anna, and helping people in Africa. Beka is known for being the founder of Wongani's Hope, an orphanage and a farm in Malawi. (Feth)The data from "Article Title" shows that, "Her fascination with the southeastern African nation, one of the poorest and least-developed in the world, started as a teenager after seeing pictures. She told friends and family she would go someday." (Courtney)

Beka Feth was determined to go to the African Nation to save the lives of African children. She knew at a young age that helping people was her passion.

The Author explains Beka as someone who is inspiring.  "She had no knowledge about the location, the climate, the political situation, health concerns, traditions or culture. All she knew was, she had to go."(KALLYAS Template. Even though Beka had no idea what she was getting into, she just knew that it was for her. Where the important events in my hero's life were Malawi, and the village when she met Anna and Wongani. My hero is so inspiring because she has taught me so much on how big of a difference even I can make."It feels like home," she said Wednesday before she left. "It feels right."(Courtney) Beka, talks about her 2nd home, Malawi, saying it's meant to be that, Malawi, is where she belongs

"She was determined to go back. She was downright fearless."(KALLYAS Template). I find Beka so inspirational, because she knew that she was meant to be in Malawi, and that she was "feealess" and that she knows that that Is where she belongs. My hero now has a farm that is growing strong In Malawi and is raising two beautiful little boys, and recently was married. My hero makes me really proud to know her, and to have her so close to me.
