Benito Juarez

My definition of a hero is, someone that you admire for the things that person did.

My hero is “ Benito Juarez”, he was an important president of Mexico, and he is famous - people know him like “ Benemerito de las Americas”.

He was born in Oaxaca the March 21st, of indigenous origins, Zapotecan. His parents died, so he lived all his childhood with his uncle in a small town name San Pablo Guelatao. He was a peasant, he guided and controlled the sheep, then he went to the university to study law, and that's why he became a president from 1858 to 1872, and he lived in Mexico all the rest of his life.

That person is very important because he did so many things, like starting peace in Mexico, and helping poor persons.

He has influenced the people for the way he lived his life and he became president and was a great president, other presidents want to be like him.
