Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Beyonce is my hero. She has inspired me and many other people around the world. she is a hip hop, r&b, song writing artist. I first started listening to Beyonce when i was seven years old. She has inspired me to be in talent shows.

My hero was born September 4, 1981. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She was enrolled in the St. Mary's Elementary school. She was discovered when her dance instructor was humming a song and Beyonce finished it, hitting all the high notes. Beyonce is also known as Queen Bee or Sasha Fierce. She started singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose in fame in the 1990 as the lead singer in a girls group (Destiney Child). In June 2003 Beyonce released her solo album dangerously in love which became one of the most successful albums of the year. That's when she became a solo artist. She has sold 50 million records worldwide with the group and over 75 million records in her total career.

At the same age Beyonce started gaining attention from the press. At the age eight Beyonce meet LaTivia Roberson in a audition for a girls group. Beyonce's dad resigned from his job in 1995 to manage the job. In 2000 Beyonce signed a three-album with Columbia Records. In June 2003 Beyonce released her solo album "Dangerously in love". The album had two number ones, Crazy in Love and Baby Boy. Beyonce won five awards at the 2004 Grammy awards for her solo effort. On February 2008 Beyonce performed at the 50th Grammy award with one of her music influences. She released her third record - I Am Sasha Fierce- on November 18, 2008.

Beyonce is my hero because she has inspired me to sing and dance. When I first heard a Beyonce song I really didn't like her songs. Then my elementary school was doing a talent show and i wanted to be in it so chose a Beyonce song and sang it at the auditions and made it. That was when i really started to like beyonce's music. Ever since then i have listened to all of Beyonce's music. She has really inspired me to do my best and to never give up.

Beyonce is my hero for many reasons. She has inspired me and many other people to do great things with their lives. She is still going with her career. Beyonce has many different talents (singing, dancing, actor).
