Blake Lively at the Golden Globe Awards (https://www.google.com/search?q=blake+lively+quote ()) |
I first became aware of Blake Lively when I was sitting in my living room, scrolling through Netflix shows to watch. I saw Gossip Girl and I started watching it. I instantly fell in love with the show and became obsessed with it. My favorite character is Serena Van Der Woodsen, of course. She was just so relatable and an amazing actress. I began to research Blake Lively and interviews about her and eventually I decided that she is what I want to be. The things about her that attracted me were her sense of style, her kindness, her ability to correctly execute every single scene she was in, and lastly her poise and sophistication. She also has a family, which is another thing I want in the future.
The career field Blake Lively is in is performing arts and acting. Examples of this are starring in movies, TV shows, commercials, modeling, and advertisements. A degree isn't required, but attending an acting program can improve skills and career outlook. If you choose to get a degree, it should be in drama, theater arts, or performing arts. You should have creativity, memorization skills, reading and pronouncing skills, and being able to speak in front of audiences. The median hourly wage for actors was $20.26 in May 2012. You should also have ability to travel and a flexible schedule. Employment of actors is projected to grow 4 percent from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations. Similar careers include, dancers/choreographers, announcers, hosts, animators, and musicians/singers.
Blake's father, Ernie was a director and producer and her mother, Elaine was a talent scout. All four of Blake's siblings are actors. As a teenager, Lively expressed no interest in acting. She wanted to go to Stanford University. Her brother, Eric pushed her into auditioning. She was smart, beautiful, intellectual, and perfect for acting. She attended Burbank High School in which she stood out in academic classes and also extra-curricular activities. She didn't go to college as she had hoped. When she was 17, Lively finally decided to attend a few auditions. She found nearly instant success. After she was in the business for a few months, she got a major role in the film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, in 2005. She filmed the movie in between years in high school when she went to Burbank High School. The film earned her a Teen Choice Award for Breakout Movie Star. After she finished her high school years, Blake got a job as Serena Van Der Woodsen on my favorite show, Gossip Girl in 2007. The amazing show was about her and her group of friends growing up in the riches and luxury of the Upper-East Side of New York. She goes through obstacles that shaped her as a person today in the show.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester (https://www.google.com/search?q=blake+lively+quote ()) |
Today, she is in movies and TV shows. One includes 'The Age of Adeline' where she is the main character. She just had a baby with her husband Ryan Reynolds, also. Blake Lively helps others in many different ways. She is a role model. She has said so many important quotes that people listen to and live by. She has inspired many people to be actors and actresses. One specific example of her contributing to society is when she did the Charity with Gucci for the organization Chime for Change in 2013. She said, "It is immensely important for me to stand behind causes I believe in, and the three pillars for Chime For Change - Education, Heath, and Justice - reflect my personal values for women's empowerment," explaining how into the organization she is and how glad she is to be working on this project.
The steps I will take to becoming a successful actress all starts with high school, where I am now. In my sophomore year I am going to take the required classes and on the side after school I will take acting classes and she a coach. Every summer I will attend auditions for commercials, advertisements, etc. Hopefully I will make it in the acting world. In college I would like to major in performing arts or psychology. Psychology would be my fall back career. When I graduate and while I'm in college, I would like to be doing all the auditions I can get to and be as involved in acting as I can be. Blake Lively's parents were in film and they knew a lot about it, unfortunately, it won't be that easy for me. But, I will find a way to make it work.
