Barack Obama

My hero is Barack Obama. He is my hero because he has accomplished many goals that many people thought were impossible for a person of color to do. Barack is the fifth African American Senator in history. Before becoming a senator Mr. Obama went to Harvard Law School. He was a university lecturer and he was a civil rights lawyer.

Another few reasons Barack is my hero because he is fighting for change in the United States. Barack is fighting for equality in the country. He is also working towards ending the war in Iraq, which has taken many soldiers, and innocent lives.

The last reason I consider Mr. Obama a hero would be because he is going to unify the country. Barack is also working towards providing universal health care.
