The Hero I have chose is Bob Cornelius Rifo. He is a member of the group called, "The Blood Beetroots". "Bob Rifo studied classical guitar and solfege at a young age while growing up in Italy. Artist that influence him were Frederic Chopin and Beethoven. He got inspired and fused the elements of classical and punk music. As time went on, he went away from the image of classical such as Beethoven and started getting more and more into chaos. He liked the raw energy of punk and rockabilly. He wanted to produce a new noise that reflected the chaos and anarchy he lived by. In 2005 the group was formed playing a fusion of punk and rock. He wanted to promote the bands show as a "band + dj" and then created "The Bloody Beetroots"." Along in this was his partner Tommy tea, who was the manager assisting the set. Then the group was dis-formed due to Rifo's alcoholism. Rifo was producing electronica before the disbandment, three months later he got back into his roots using the name "The Bloody Beetroots ". His challenge was to bring punk rock aesthetics to the electronica medium.

He has been doing many projects for different types of noise and sound to bring new into the electronica scene. He is doing something different with it, which is what caught my attraction to the group when I started listening to them and saw live sets. His main group "The Bloody Beetroots" have already traveled everywhere around the world, showing them the new noise and bringing a new generation of electronica. He does the majority of the mixing and the producing.

Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo was born in 1977 in Italy.

Rifo is still alive and doing way better than before. He is not a alcoholic anymore, which is good because now that his group is getting bigger. He definitely does not want the group to be dis-formed. He's getting very successful.

Why is this person important to you? How has your hero made a difference in your life? Bob Rifo plays a good role in my life. He is important to me because he put my mind in a different perspective. Bob got me to try new things with making music and what sounds to use in producing. Everyone always likes to hear something new. That's what he's making me do. He has influenced me a lot with my mixing skills as well. His act of stage has brought me a new style to when I mix to pump up the crowd. I would jump around or even or my set! All in all, he has made a bit part of who I am today and what I do. Not for bad, but for the better.
