Betsy Ross was a very patriotic woman. General George Washington came to her shop in Philadelphia and asked Betsy to sew a flag. She made corrections like 5-pointed stars instead of 6-pointed stars. She agreed to make the flag. She was very lonely because out of her family, 3 husbands, 2 children and a great Aunt died. Betsy is a wonderful woman.
