Ruth is well known because of his work ethic as a child and as a professional baseball player. Even after he achieved major league status, he still pushed harder to be even better. Ruth worked tirelessly to become the best baseball player, from the time he was 10, all the way until he reached his prime. "George Jr. While at St. Mary's. He achieved his success to the fullest, including money, fame and popularity. Ruth worked every day, striving to be better than every other baseball player out there. "Refine his baseball skills, working tirelessly with him on hitting, fielding and pitching skills." Ruth worked until he was the best, and even when he was the best he still worked on his swing and was determined to get better. After giving up pitching and playing only outfield, Now Ruth's goal was to accomplish being the best hitter and fielder. This made people around the world, travel to New York just to see the Big Bambino play. By Ruth working hard and achieving his goals, he was the best hitter and pitcher in the league with his almost perfect ERA of 1.75. His hitting average during the year of 1915 with the Boston Red Sox was .342. During that time that was an outstanding hitting average. Ruth remains as the best player ever lived. Ruth was a true hero because he was a great player on the field and a great man off the field. Ruth made his way to local hospitals to see his fans that were hurt or sick. He would visit his old school in Maryland to help kids out with their baseball skills. Ruth helped bring out the best in people and allow them to see the good in themselves.

Ruth gave people the exemplified success. Success was achieving the best in baseball and helping people realize that money isn't everything. Ruth didn't try to be a hero, he just was. Even though he didn't know it, he inspired thousands to be like him which saved most people during the great depression. People opened businesses after him. Without Ruth the baseball world wouldn't be the same. People wouldn't strive to be better. He set a standard for baseball players around the world and players decided to be like him and achieve the extraordinary goals. Ruth inspired thousands by having an extraordinary work ethic. Even when he reached the top he still pushed and worked harder on being even better, showing all people that anything can happen with hard work. Ruth made me realize everyone has a shot to be the best. He taught me and thousands around the world to set goals and achieve them. He also made me realize that baseball isn't everything. He visited local hospitals to see his fans and he helped young children improve their baseball skills. Like Ruth, I try to share my skills with younger children to set a high standard for them. By Ruth becoming the best player thru 1914 to 1936, he shined through every single player in the MLB. He was now the most popular, the best hitter, and one of the best pitchers in the MLB history. All around Ruth was a true hero to those who saw him play and to those who only know of his heroism through his legend. Ruth didn't only inspire, he set a goal for me and other baseball players to achieve.
