Bradley Lewis Waller

My hero is my dad, Bradley Lewis Waller. My dad was born in Ocala, Florida. He has two brothers, David and Ben. My dad is adventurous and artistic. I think he gets the adventure from his dad. His dad discovered an unusual bird called a Waller bird. He isn’t just a dad, though. He is also a pastor and a basketball coach. He is a youth pastor at Independent Presbyterian Church. I couldn’t ask for a better dad.

There are many reasons my dad is a hero to me. He is patient and calm. He is also always there when someone needs help. He is loving and caring and puts a big smile on my face every day (my dad is very humorous). He is a hero to a lot of people and I know that as a fact. He has a crazy life and doesn’t show his frustration when it gets hard. My dad definitely puts others before himself. I love my dad so much and I tell him that every day. He makes me say I will always be daddy’s little girl even when I am old and married.

My dad is like a Greek hero in many ways, but he is also very different from them. My dad is like a Greek hero because he is smart like Odysseus and strong like Heracles. He isn’t like the Greek heroes because he hasn’t ever slain a monster or found a golden fleece. Though my dad may not be like a Greek hero, he is definitely my hero.
