Barry S. Zornberg

That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gem of innocence inside you that makes you want to believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end. -Lise Hand

This is my personal story about how an angel helped my family and me one Christmas. It had been a rough year for us, financially. Christmas can be a happy time for people, but it can also be a sad time for those of us who wish we could give our children more, but wishing is all we can do. I remember feeling numb, knowing that there was no Santa Claus to bring my kids the gifts I couldn't afford. My landlord, Barry Zornberg, changed this for me. He knew we were having a hard time. He came to the house, and even though he didn't look like Santa, to me he was. He brought Christmas gifts for my children, and I wasn't the only one. I know for a fact that he did this for many families that year. I also know that he has been involved with many charities. He's a good and decent man, and that's why he deserves a "My Hero" page.
Thank you.
