Brian Deegan rides professional freestyle motocross. You don't need a college education for this career and there is no professional training for this. You just need to hang out with the right people, watch what they do, and practice, practice, practice. The salary can be huge if you win contests and become sponsored. The riders in Metal Mulisha can earn millions of dollars. Brian Deegan and his buddies all have great houses out in Temecula, Ca. with their own foam jumping pits and tracks in their backyards where they can practice and learn new tricks. There's not much you have to do in school for this career. You've just got to have the love for the sport and not be getting hurt. If you do this career, you have to know that you will get hurt no matter what and you just have to be as careful as you can. Motocross is a sport that I have been doing since I was a little kid. Brian Deegan on the other hand, was first a motocross racer and raced against people and he thought to himself, "We have tattoos all over our bodies and that's not racing material, that's freestyle material!" So he started to try it for a little bit and he noticed he was really good at it, so he made it official. People started to notice and they liked it and more and more people started to do freestyle. Then it got noticed by fuel tv and the x games then it got very famous now it's everywhere like in China, Australia, England, Hawaii, so many places now it's just crazy how far it has come.
