Charles Babbage

He was born on December 26, 1791 in London, England. He lived in London. He was trying to help people with math. That is why he invented the calculator. It was important because it allowed people to do math 10 times faster than they normally were able to do it. He has also built many machines that are still used today in modern-day computers.

My hero made the difference engine that is like a modern day calculator but much bigger. That has helped in many different ways because it is now used in modern day computers. The reason why I think this man is my hero is because, without him, you wouldn’t have calculators. He has made many peoples' lives a lot easier. My hero has made many other things as well and there are way too many to count.

Inventing is the best thing you can possibly work in because it helps you with money and everything else. If you have a dream then follow it. It doesn’t matter what it is, it is still your dream. There is nothing that can stop you from doing something you love or from doing something that you think is right.
