The Beatles

Have you ever had a hero or someone to look up to? Well I have, and they are The Beatles. The Beatles contain four members in their group, and they are Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and John Lennon. These four Musicians didn't start off in a band together. Originally the group was Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, Pete Best, and Stu Sutcliffe. Paul, John, George, Pete, and Stu called them self's the Quarry Men. The Beatles finally got Ringo in their band and kicked out Stu, and Pete, and named themselves The Beatles. The Beatles won over Liverpool, England, and Hamburg, Germany, and wanted to do the same with the U.S.A.

When The Beatles went to the U.S.A, they took a ride to the top with their music. They started fighting after a long career. They broke up the band all still singing. In 1980, John Lennon was shot dead outside his apartment. The Beatles came together to make one last song called Strawberry Fields Forever in honor of John. In 2001 George Harrison died a tragic death from cancer.

The Beatles are heroes to me because they inspired me that I want to have a role in music. Now when I hear one of their songs I think that can be me someday. Their music also changed the world when they were still a band with songs like “All You Need is Love,” “Revolution,” “ Because,” and “Come Together.”

Some people might say that The Beatles sing and get paid so that they're not really heroes, or The Beatles are not good musicians they can't be heroes. People who don't like The Beatles might argue about how The Beatles are not heroes. To those people I say The Beatles might inspire people like they did me, plus they changed the world with music when they were a band.

The Beatles match what I think a hero is - “a hero is a person or people who make a difference or is seen as a role model.” The Beatles made a difference like their music changed how people treated each other and are seen as a role model, at least to me. The Beatles might have showed people what they want to be in life. The Beatles are not like soldiers or cops who help people in need. The Beatles show people maybe you want to have a role in music. So have you ever had a hero? If not I recommend the Beatles.
