My hero is Cuauhtemoc Blanco. He is my hero because he is a good soccer player who always works with his team. His full name is Cuauhtemoc Blanco Bravo, he was born on January 17, 1973. He is 34 years old and he lives in Mexico City. His nickname is Cuauh or Temo.

His current club is America, his number is 10. His height is 177cm, his playing position is attacking mid-fielder. Cuauhtemoc is an important soccer player because he is one of the best and he can help the Mexican team win the tournament. His debut in the Mexican first division was at the age of 17. Blanco has also played for the Mexican National Team in two World Cups: in France in '98 and in Korea and Japan in 2002 scoring a total of two goals. In May, 2005, Blanco won his first ever club championship as a player. His old teams are: Necaxa, Real Valladolid, Veracruz and now is signed with an American team.

If I have the opportunity to speak to him I will ask him how he feels when he represents his country, Mexico.

The name Cuauhtemoc comes from the Nahuatl words Cuauhtli and Temoc, where Cuauhtli means eagle; it is funny because the mascot of Team America is an eagle. He has played for Team America for 6 years.
