Bono a.k.a. Paul David Hewson

An unbelievable person.

Bono is an amazing person. Not only has he touched people with his music, but he has touched people with his hope. He has raised so much money for the cause of HIV/AIDS, he is known as a saint. This is why he has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize so many times yet has failed to win it. In my eyes he is known as one of the most giving person I have ever seen. He is so extraordinary, giving, and a fighter for the cause, he is a hero.

My hero is Bono. He lives in California where he is a musician. Bono is so about the cause that he devotes most of his time to it. He even writes his music based off of hope and perseverance. His fight to cure HIV/AIDS is so huge; nobody can match his status for it. Bono is a role model to everybody out there, even to adults. Because Bono has done so much, more and more people have stepped up and raised a substantial amount of money.

Have you ever heard of Product Red, DATA (Debt, Aids, Trade, Africa), or ONE Campaign? Well all of those where either founded or co-founded by Bono. He inspires so many people to fight for the cause. So far, Bono has raised 100 million dollars in all campaigns he is involved in. Everyday he gets just a half step closer to solving that big problem of HIV/AIDS. Because of this, he has one many awards for his courteous and persistent fight to find a cure.

My hero Bono can relate to A Hero’s Trail because a hero can be anybody on the face of the Earth. Bono to me is a hero within. He seems like he always had that hero quality and that is a hero within. When you are a hero within you can never lose that quality, once you have it, it stays with you for the rest of your life. I believe for the rest of Bono’s life, he will fight for the cure if not already found. He is just that kind of person. He will never stop until he succeeds.

In conclusion, Bono is a great person. He gives so much no matter what he receives. His real gift is helping other people and saving them. It doesn’t matter if he does not receive gifts; all he really wants to receive is the smiles on the people who he helps. Bono will always be my hero and will always be the most giving person who I know. Find you hero today, that person could be your inspiration to do something great.
