Paul David Hewson is Bono's real name. He was born on the 10 of May 1960. He is the lead singer of the famous U2. He went to Mount Temple Comprehensive school. Here he met his future band members.

He writes all of u2s songs. His most recent album is how to dismantle an atomic bomb. Their next album is available in February in all good music stores.

Bono has done a lot of charity work over the years. He gives a lot of his own hard earned money to very good causes and charities. In my eyes Bono is a true hero. He is an inspiration to all people, young and old.

Some of his charity work includes singing songs for different causes and concerns. Whenever you see Bono in the paper, there are always good things said about him. He is a really great guy.

So these are all the reasons why we really love Bono and think he is a great guy. We hope other people follow in his footsteps and do lots of really great things.
