In 1925, he received his first new cricket bat from his mum after making 300 against Moss Vale, aged 17. Soon after he was invited to attend training at the SCG with the NSW Cricket Team. In his first shield innings (in 1928) he scored a stunning 118 runs.
Finally, he made his debut for Australia. Australia was soon dominating the test matches. Suddenly, the English Captain discovered Bodyline, which is bowling at the man. After a long time Bradman found away to combat the bowling technique of the English. Using his wits and leg speed to dodge the ball and then use the pace of the ball to hit 4’s and 6’s.
