A hero to me is someone who affects your life in a positive way and influences you to do something you love. Someone who has changed your life.

Yes, to me it is important to have a hero, because you need someone to look up to in life so you aren't tempted to do the wrong things. Having a positive hero can inspire you to do better things with your life. For example, my hero is a skateboarder and a musician and he has helped he stick with skating and music and has helped me improve with them.

I chose him to be my hero because he has inspired me to get interested in the things that I now love doing, such as playing guitar, piano, and skating. He influences me by pushing me to keep going and teaching me new things and urging me to try things and stick with them. He essentially made me who I am today by helping me find my true interests.

I believe that my hero should be induced into the hero hall of fame because he inspired me to be who I am today and he's my best friend. He has stuck with skateboarding and guitar for the better part of his life, showing that he has determination. Also, being a skater, he has taken some pretty bad falls much like myself and he just gets back up and tries it again. These acts encourage me to do the same. His attitude can be incorporated into anything you have an interest in, for example, guitar.
