MTV's show called "The Buried Life" asks others what you would want to do before you die? The show is about four young men named Duncan, Ben, Jonnie, and Dave on a journey to achieve 100 tasks on a list that all four of them agreed that they wanted to do before they died. Each time they try to accomplish a goal on their list, they help someone with something that's on theirs.
The boys help people from all ages and places achieve their wildest dreams. Whether or not the boys acquire the goal that they attempted on the list, they always come through and help someone else. That's one of the main reason that I admired them so much for. The show teaches others to be adventurous, that failure is only a bump in the road, and the importance of helping others. They are young men who believe that the sky is the limit.
"The Buried Life explores the exciting wonders of human potential and the exhilaration of going after one's dreams-those dreams too often buried by everyday life. This is the incredible and hard to believe true story." - http://www.poptower.com/the-buried-life.htm
They are my heroes because they follow their dreams and help others to accomplish theirs; sending a message that there's no such thing as impossible. These four men started with absolutely nothing and had no ideas on how they were going to accomplish their goals on the list but tried everything they could to be successful. I love their optimistic attitude towards life. It's refreshing to see such a show on television today because rarely ever are there shows that are inspirational and have a good message. It's fantastic to see young adults living their lives and assisting others to do so as well. The fact that they are following their dreams and helping others, warms my heart. :)
