"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community... Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own." (Cesar Chavez). Chavez was a great human's rights leader and an inspiring civil activist. He had a middle school education because he stop school in seventh grade to work on the field's full time. He join the military for a few years, and when he came back he founded an association to help immigrant farm workers. He died in his sleep on April 23, 1993. Cesar Chavez is a hero because he fought hard and selflessly for the rights of immigrant workers, he was virtuous and remained nonviolent in his methods, and he was an inspiration to many people.

Cesar Chavez selflessly gave his life to help immigrant farm workers. Chavez did everything to help the migrant workers, and gain supporters for them: "The highly publicized five-year strike against grape growers in California's San Joaquin, Imperial, and Coachella valleys raised America's consciousness about the conditions of migrant workers and transformed Chavez into a national symbol of civil disobedience. By holding hunger strikes, marches, and sit-ins, as well as having himself arrested in order to garner attention for his cause, he led a boycott that cost California grape growers millions of dollars. In 1970 the growers agreed to grant rights to migrant workers and raised their minimum wage.". Chavez believed in a better future for the immigrant workers. He felt that they weren't getting the recognition or the pay that a they deserved while working long hours in the fields. Cesar Chavez saw this injustice and wanted a better future where they can receive more respect for the work that they do. Chavez stepped in and dedicated his time to fight for a change. He worked hard and even went on a 36 day fast. Chavez started a cause larger than himself, he stood for all the immigrant and became a Hispanic icon: "Chavez's self-sacrifice and personal devotion to the cause of liberating farm workers from exploitation was an inspiration to millions. He brought the nation's attention to the plight of desperately poor migrant workers. His legacy does not consist only of the increases in pay, eligibility for medical insurance, employer-paid pensions, and unemployment benefits that UFW members received. He was responsible for La Causa, the birth of the Hispanic American civil rights movement. "Chavez didn't just help the migrant workers, he also helped them support their families. He gave them the rights they needed, and gain the support for their cause. Chavez gave up everything to help the immigrant workers, he gave them everything that they needed, and he even encouraged them to vote. He gave them the life that they worked so hard for.

Cesar Chavez is a hero because he selflessly gave everything to a bigger cause just so he could see a better future with less poverty.

Cesar Chavez was very virtuous in the methods he used to promote his organizations and cause. Cesar Chavez was a very righteous person took inspiration from some of his own heroes to help him accomplish what he did: "Inspired by his own strong Catholic principles as well as the nonviolence practiced by leaders such as India's Mahatmas Gandhi and black civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Chavez and AWOC leaders used picket lines, a nationwide consumer boycott, and protest rallies as weapons in their economic war against agricultural interests.". Chavez stood for a great cause, he was kind, caring, and stuck to his beliefs while putting up a fight for the rights of the immigrant farmers. He admired the way other heroes (such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi) were effective, but nonviolent, and learn from them to help bring attention to the lack of rights the immigrant farmer's possessed. He had very strong morals, he believed in what was right and did everything he could to help. He promoted nonviolent methods and strongly showed peaceful resistance. Chavez believed that everyone deserved the same rights, not just the Hispanic community: "In the spring of 1967, Chavez led a 300-mile march from Delano to Sacramento. By the time he and the 65 original farm workers reached Sacramento 25 days later, they had been joined by 10,000 supporters and attracted the attention of Americans all across the nation. Catching the momentum of the social protest movement that had been fueled by both the civil rights movement and disputes over U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War, Chavez's cause brought together blue collar workers and college students, Blacks and Latinos, Catholics and Jews, and even prompted participation from America's middle class. In addition, radicalized young people of the barrios viewed Chvez and his cause as a crusade for La Raze--the Hispanic race." Cesar Chavez wasn't prejudice, he believed in a better future for everyone despite what they had and what they didn't. He wanted to promote peace and shine a light on the people who were struggling. He stood strong for his cause and never stopped for anything, and he continued to help even after the immigrants were given rights. He brought people together through kindness and encouraging people to keep working towards a better future through his moral methods. Cesar Chavez came from humble beginnings as a farm worker and then worked his way up by showing peaceful nonviolent methods in ending a unacknowledged injustice.

Cesar Chavez was a selfless and virtuous man, and he is an inspiration to what people should be. Cesar Chavez was an inspiration because he came from a poor background and did the near impossible for more than just himself: "As a farm worker with a wife and growing family, Chavez's frustration over his treatment as a farm worker and the legacy he would leave his children inspired him to take up the union cause again. Through Catholic Father Donald McDonnell, Chavez met union recruiter Fred Ross in 1952. This meeting sparked his active involvement in organized labor and his ten- year work on behalf of the Community Service Organization (CSO)."().It started off for a better future for his kids, but then it expanded. He help all migrant workers, people facing racial injustice, middle class people, and even some religious groups. Cesar Chavez is a true hero and inspiration for all the impossible things he did. He had a middle school education, did military service, then work the fields, but was able the immigrant workers a right to proper healthcare, increase in pay, and more. He saw something wrong in society and decided to make a change. Chavez is a great inspiration he fought endlessly and hard to fulfill his wishes on how the immigrant farmers were treated: "In the early 1960s Chavez began to focus exclusively on ameliorating the economic and labor exploitation of Mexican American farm workers. He formed the Farm Workers Association in 1962, which later became the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA). By 1965 1,700 families had joined the NFWA. That same year the organization convinced two major California growers to raise the wages of migrant workers. In 1966, after the NFWA merged with an organization of Filipino workers to form the UFWOC, a campaign was launched to picket grape growers in Delano who paid low wages."(). Chavez even started his own association to help raise the wages of the farm workers, then started a 10 year boycott on grapes to gain publicity for his association. He worked endlessly to see this through. He was an inspiration to many people and lead they towards a better future that they could only dream about, and he became a Chicano icon. So many things are better now because of him, he was a truly inspiring man. Cesar Chavez was an amazing human being, and he carried many of the personality traits that everyone should have, and was an inspiring hero.

He saw there was a problem is society on how the immigrants were treated and their pay, and he choose to make a difference by giving up a lot of time, dedication, money, and hard work. He remained peaceful despite what people said to him or treated him. He tried to inspire people to fight for what they wanted and what they worked for. Cesar Chavez was a true hero who remained selfless, virtuous, and inspiring by encouraging people to fight for what's right by through his words, but his actions as well.
