The hero that I chose is Clive Cussler. I chose him because he has done so many things for the world. For example, in the 1990’s he started a company called Numa [National Underwater Marine Agency], which travels the globe in search of Navel and Historic objects submerged in the water. Clive Cussler often donates money to charities and Numa. He is also very famous for his action and adventure novels. I enjoy reading his books and I feel that he is an extremely good Author and historian which makes me a huge fan of his work. I have learned loads of interesting things from his stories and will continue to read from his writing.

Clive Cussler was born in Alhambra, California, on July 15 1931 and spends most of his living in Colorado and Arizona. He is known as the biggest international selling author, also one of the richest men in the world. He does a lot of water and goldmine expeditions.

Numa was formed in the 1990’s in Australia with a bunch of Clive’s friends and divers, who are also marine experts. They have made history as one of the biggest non-profit ocean organizations.

Now I will tell you exactly what Dr.Clive Cussler did to become my hero. He digs up old wrecks or objects and treasures from the ocean floor. Some people might consider him to be somewhat of a pirate. There has also been an expedition of famous gold mines. In 1999 Numa was authorized an non-profit organization. Cussler also served as an aircraft engineer and mechanic during the Korean War.
