Craig Flowers Jr.

by Sierra from Pickerington

A hero to me, is someone who does something without thinking of themselves, without thinking of rewards. Someone who is willing to put themselves at risk for somebody else. A hero is somebody who makes a difference in somebody's life. Someone who you can count on and look up to. Somebody who inspires you. Somebody you can call a role model.

159969Craig Flowers Jr.Sierra from PickeringtonMy hero is my cousin Craig, or as we like to call him Cj. Cj is my hero because he has been around me since I was born. He has been with me through the good and the bad, the happy an the sad, and even though we have our differences, we are still really close. He is like my big brother, basically. He's helped me through the toughest times in my life, and I couldn't have asked for a better cousin. He's also the funniest person I have ever met, and knows how to put a smile on your face even when your crying. He's the type of person who wants to see a smile on your face and wants to make you happy when your down. I look up to him, and he is my role model. He's my favorite cousin and my best friend. I love him. :)

He is always willing to put others before himself, even if it means risking getting into big trouble. He is always trying to make you laugh and put a smile on your face and brighten your day with the craziest things, and he encourages you to make the best decision and not do bad things. He's the best cousin ever, and by far my favorite. :)

My hero is my Dad. He took me from a bad childhood and life that I had growing up with my mother who showed me all the wrong things, and he raised me to be a respectable gentleman.
2. How does it feel to know that you are my hero?It feels great! :) It's a boost of my ego and confidence. I'm very honored to be your hero, and I know that someday you will be a good role model as well.
3. How would you define a hero?A legendary figure that shows great abilities and nobel qualities with extreme admiration and motivation, and has the will to help others before oneself.
4. What's the riskiest thing you have ever done for someone?I performed CPR on a dog, and saved it's life.
5. Who was your fictional childhood hero, and why?
My fictional hero would have to be the coyote in the Road Runner because no matter what happened in the cartoons, whether it was getting smashed by acme or being blown up, he never gave up that will to defeat the road runner. He stayed motivated and always gave his all, and to me, that's pretty heroic.
