Claude Giroux

He shoots, he scores! Claude is now the MVP of the game! Claude was born January 12, 1988, in Hearst, Ontario. He is still living today and is only 23 years old. I know he is not the best hockey player in the world, but he is a darn good one. He has made some accomplishments that no other hockey player living has.

Major accomplishments

Claude is one of the best hockey players on his team. He has made some major accomplishments. In the season of 2009-2010, he scored 16 goals and passed 31 assists. That is 46 points all together! During the 2010-2011 season, Claude suited up for all 82 games and got 72 points with 25 goals and 51 assists.  I sure wish I could do all of that. He must have overcame lots of obstacles to do that.

Obstacles he had to overcome

When Claude was a boy, he lived in Hearst, Ontario and loved to play hockey, in fact, he spent hours and hours playing hockey as a kid. But he had to move 600 miles away from home to Ottawa. It was hard for him living there, but he eventually started to play hockey again. Man, he must have worked so hard. It was really hard for him when he was a kid.

Traits

Claude has some amazing traits. First, he has determination. He has determination because he always is confident that his team will do well if they win or lose. He never gives up and just keeps on trying. Second, he has courage. Claude has courage because he is not afraid of other players charging for the puck while he is. He has taken hits for his team and gets back in the game every time that he goes down. Lastly, Claude has dedication. He has dedication because he has dedicated his life to hockey.
