Chris Kyle is the most feared marksman in all of military history. As a Navy SEAL in the Middle East he has set and broken many records in military history. Including himself no one expected Kyle to become a SEAL especially after his serious rodeo injury with multiple bolts in his hand. Kyle was denied the first couple times by the Navy but kept trying and he soon joined. Growing up in a small town in Texas, Kyle and his family went hunting frequently. With parents that are both church deacons and Sunday school teachers he was also very educated and religious. He grew up working and competing in rodeos; he also started college but dropped out to join the Navy few credits shy of graduation. During his career as a Navy SEAL Kyle was a sniper which earned him popularity that was not important to him and may have also earned him a protector from heaven. Chris Kyle has the qualities that may make him one of the greatest heroes. Kyle possesses not only modesty but loyalty to his family and religion.
Chris Kyle is a very recognized figure in US military history. Even with all the recognition and fame Kyle stays modest and doesn't get caught up in the fame. Kyle was in an elite branch of the military known as the SEALS that took part in events like the assassination of Bin Laden. Many movies were created about the SEALS asking questions about what it's like to be a SEAL but him and many of his partners keep their accomplishments and stories to themselves. "Now with even a new motion picture starring active duty SEALs some question whether it's too much publicity. In telling his story, Chris Kyle says he doesn't share classified information. Every SEAL I've ever talked to really doesn't like to talk about what they do. And that's, you know, part of the creed..." ("Profile: Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle." Today). Kyle doesn't brag about his accomplishments. Many other active duty SEALS choose to share their stories and accomplishments for the fame and popularity of the movie. Kyle doesn't care about the fame he elects to keep the stories to him and not brag. Kyle doesn't need the fame he doesn't care about it he knows that protecting his country is a priority not an accomplishment. Kyle is well known for being the most lethal marksman in military history with a record amount of kills. "He was celebrated for the number of kills he made from behind the scope of his sniper rifle. At least 160. A number Chris Kyle told me a year ago was not the one he focused on. If I could figure out the number of people I saved, that`s something I would brag about."("For February 3, 2013, NBC."). The 160 confirmed kills wasn't important to Kyle. The numbers, the fame, the records none of it was important to him. The fact that he was protecting innocent civilians and keeping his country safe was important to him. He didn't want the fame he just wanted to do his job and keep the innocent people safe from the evildoers. Mr. Chris Kyle stays modest over all of the fame that people give him. He doesn't want the fame or the popularity all he wants to do is protect his country and do his job. Even though Kyle is known as the most lethal marksman in history he stays modest and does his job.
Chris Kyle is a very religious person who grew up with a church deacon as a dad. He went to church every week staying loyal to God. Kyle is also a loving husband and dad that loves his family and cares for them. When he is in combat Kyle believes and thinks about God. He believes he has a protector from above: "That faith in God especially saw Kyle through his last combat tour when he was shot twice. One bullet stopped by his body armor, the other deflected off his goggles. KYLE: I had a guardian angel out there and I`m sure he hates me because I`ve come home and I break my toe going up the stairs, but every time I went overseas he kept me safe.,"( "For February 3, 2013, NBC."). Kyle's loyalty to God gives him faith in combat. Loyalty to God gives him faith that a guardian angel that protects him in combat is the reason he is still alive. He believes that because he is religious and believes in God that he has a protector. He thinks that in takes care of him at war but at home gets revenge on him for all the times it helped him out. Chris Kyle is a loving dad and husband with a loving family that supports him in combat even if the aren't the most important thing in his life: "Chris struggled to determine how his life should be ordered. God, country, family or God, family, country." ("For February 3, 2013, NBC."). Kyle is very loyal to his country, Family and Religion. So much so that he can't even order them. He loves all of them but he says that sometimes serving his country protecting the citizens contributes to helping his family. A very religious man with a family member who was an important part in church Chris Kyle practices his belief in God strongly. With a very loving family waiting for him at home while he is in combat innocent people while he believes he is protected by an angel.
With the qualities of modesty and loyalty to his family and religion Chris Kyle might be the greatest hero. With all the unwanted fame Kyle tells interviewers that he doesn't want the record of people he killed but the record of people he saves. Kyle is also loyal to his family and religion which he believes might have earned him an angel protector in combat. Chris Kyle is an inspiration to both me and others for his modesty. Most people do what they do for the fame and the fortune, but Kyle he does it to protect his country and innocent civilians. He does not want the fame or the records he said he was just doing his job. Also staying loyal to the things you love can set a great example to people. If you stay loyal maybe good things will happen for you and those around you. Chris Kyle was always determined to do his job and protect his country and civilians. Even with all the records and fame the Kyle earned him by becoming the deadliest marksman in military combat, Chris doesn't want it. He just did his job, but also loyalty to his religion might have saved his life so he can come home to a family that loved him.
