Camille Muffat was a French icon in the world of swimming. She was born on October the 28th 1989 and she grew up in Nice, in France.

At the age of 15 years, she beat Laure Manoudou (another famous French swimmer) on 200 meters during the Championships of France. She also broke the record of Laure Manoudou. She became European champion in 2007 in December (Hungaria).

Prize list: She won her first world title in the 200m, little basin in Dubai. She won 3 Olympic medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze), 4 bronze medals in World Championships (LC), 2 medals in World Championships (SC) (1 gold and 1 bronze), European Championships (LC) (1 silver and 1 bronze) 7 medals in European Championships (SC) (4 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) and 1 gold medal in Mediterranean Games.

WHY is my hero important? Camille Muffat was a French swimmer which, for me, deserves entry into the history of swimming.
