Cam Newton

On Sunday, Cam Newton became the first player in NFL history to throw for five touchdowns and rush for 100 yards in the same game. That performance (the uniqueness of which was noted by the Elias Sports Bureau) led the Carolina Panthers to their 14th win (with no losses) this season. (Kreamer) Cam Newton is a very profound football player and how he became who is today is due to his father and mother. "Cameron Jerrell "Cam" Newton was born on May 11, 1989, in Atlanta, Georgia. The second of three boys, Newton hailed from a home in which athletics and hard work were a central part of growing up. While Newton's mother, Jackie, stayed on top her boys' studies, their father, Cecil, cast a large shadow over their sports lives and weekend activities. Football, part-time jobs and household chores kept his sons busy." (Bio) A hero must possess being motivated and being generous. For Cam, this is shown on a daily basis when it comes to the game of football. He will show motivation through him always trying to out work the other team, trying to do more than the average quarterback. As well as him giving a football to a kid in the stands after each touchdown is just incredibly generous and shows how he is around his fans. Cam newton is a superstar in the game of football. Even when Cam isn't in the game he is motivating the team even when on the sidelines. This just comes to show how much he cares about the game and how much he wants to dedicate towards it.  

Cam Newton is a very motivated individual who continues to stay humbled and achieve greatness regardless of his current situation. Although Cam Newton has had a near perfect season, before that he had a off field incident that occurred in College. "In spite of his football ability, however, Newton's early career has been mired in controversy. Although he originally attended the University of Florida, Newton ran into trouble when he was charged with purchasing a stolen laptop, leading to his suspension from the football team." (Gale) This quote illustrates how despite whatever obstacles he encountered, he still prevailed and overcame all odds. As well as demonstrating how much of a stressful situation he was in. All though he may of faulted for a minute he was able to overcome it and be successful in the long run. Through all his troubles, there were still people wanted to see him succeed. "As the end of the fall semester drew near, colleges and universities again showed an interest in recruiting Newton." This quote represents how a man named Cam, is coming from being expelled and not a standout in college to being a highly motivated individual and continued to achieve his dream. Through Cam having to attend a Junior College to keep his football abilities alive, he eventually gets enough looks and ultimately chooses Auburn to revive his football life. Overall Cam Newton has stayed motivated despite all the on and off the field issues he has encountered.  

Inspiration is a rare feature few people have. Fortunately, Cam Newton has this unique feature and uses it to the maximum of his ability and inspires others. At Florida Cam Newton was experiencing great success on the field but on the contrary, off the field he encountered a massive hardship on his road to success. He got suspended from football at Florida and ultimately left  and continued his passion for the game at a Junior College. "At Blinn College in Texas, Newton led the Buccaneers to the 2009 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Championship." (Cam Newton) Cam Newton is clearly a football superstar. Regardless of  him getting kicked out of Florida for purchasing a stolen laptop, he still inspired others to still do good and make a dream come true and continue playing football for a living. Cam Newton had a hall of fame worthy season showcasing all of the success he is capable of. "Newton had a phenomenal season in 2015. He posted a near-perfect 15-1 season, garnering 3,387 passing yards and 35 touchdowns with an additional 10 rushing touchdowns." This quote is an exceptional one because it represents Cams most recent season. He came from a being a stud to being on headlines about robbery and then to becoming a quarterback that led a team to a near perfect season. Cam Newton is very hard worker and is committed to the success of him and his team. As well as being committed to being successful off the field.

As said before by many, Cam Newton contains many traits that make him a hero. He possesses the traits of being a highly motivated individual as well as being being generous on and off the field. (Cam Newton) This quote shows Cams exceptional inspiration due to him being drafted to a losing team and being the 1st overall pick to leading a team to a near perfect season all the way up to the Super Bowl. With Cam Newton it can be on a daily basis his motivation for the game of football is electric. He consistently makes football his passion in a fun way for everyone to come in and join. As well as his generosity on and off the field through make a wish foundation, cam newton hosting camps for youth athletes and donating money to kids during Christmas to buy gifts in DICK's Sporting goods. This is inspirational in a way that shows younger athletes how to present themselves once they get to the level of fame which Cam has achieved. Cam Newton is an inspiration to others whether it is how he overcame large obstacles or how he dominates in the game of football. He overcame being expelled and possibly having his football career possibly crumble but yet he continued on to pursue his dream and now is the NFL MVP and led his team to a Super Bowl.
