In honor of Charles Schulz, I did research about this hero in “Biography Today.” I chose Charles Schulz because I think he is very interesting. After the research, I was glad I did Charles Schulz because I learned so much about him.

Who knew such a normal beginning would give the world such a hero? Charles Schulz was born on November 26, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was the son of Carl and Dena Halverson Schulz. Charles married Joyce Halverson. They had five children together named Meredith, Charles, Craig, Amy, and Jill. Charles got divorced in 1972. In 1973 however, Charles got married to Jeannie Clyde and became a step-father to her two children. Charles said, “When I was 13, we were given a black and white dog who turned out to be the forerunner of Snoopy. He was a mixed breed and slightly larger than the beagle Snoopy was supposed to be.”

The foundation of heroism is education. Charles Schulz attended Richard Gordon Elementary School, St. Paul’s Central High School, and Art Instruction Inc. As a child, Charles was nicknamed “Sparky.” He loved comics ever since he was a little boy.

Hard work contributes to heroism. Charles Schulz wrote the “Peanuts” comic strip. He also created the well-known character, “Charlie Brown.”

Charles Schulz is important to mankind and changed the world. He changed how comics were written and created the “Peanuts” comics. This is how he changed the world.
