Chen Shu-chu

Some people think that physical fulfillment is important, and some people long for their reputation to be spread all over the world. For me, I just hope that I could have a kind heart to help others. So the hero of mine is Che Shu-chu, the Taiwanese female philanthropist who has straight hair and wears a pair of glasses. The plain-looking lady is so kindhearted that she contributes all the money which she had saved from her daily life. Born in 1951 in the Yunlin, Chen has been taking care of her famiy to help her mother since she was little and remains single so far to support her family. She is very frugal because of her humble origin. She, with contentment, genuinely treats others. Chen always gives a hand to orphans and children who are without any power to survive.

She is the most special woman l have ever met. In my life, I often heard about money being the most important thing in human life. Without money, we could not do anything, even meals. I learned the truth that from watching TV programs or real situations in my family. And the value of money gives me a very bad and confusing feeling. So amazing is this lady that she gives me a light in the dark. She gives everyone needing help a hand. And what she does teaches me the happiest moment is when we are giving. Many great people have often told us how love can have a great influence on everybody. I used to disbelieve that, but now I totally think it is actually right. I hope that I could help others and give them a ray of hope or power to grow, to stand up again. Just like her, I can be someone kind, too.
