Chad Smith

Chadwick Gaylord Smith was born on October 25, 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Chad had an average childhood but attended boarding school. In Chad's childhood he had always showed interest in music. After high school he moved to California to live with his brother and decided to audition for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. This essay will talk about who he is and when did he live, what has your hero done and where does he live and why is this person important to me.

My hero is Chad Smith. Chad was born on October 25, 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Chad moved to LA after high school. Throughout his life Chad had been an experienced drummer, when he moved to LA he auditioned to be the drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Chilies is why Chad is well known. The Chilies are one of the most well known modern rock bands in the world and they are my favorite band to date. Chad is also in some other bands and has also contributed to songs by small underground bands. Chad is still alive today and is still the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My next point will talk about what has he done and where does he live.

Chad has worked on his drumming and has now become one of the leading drummers in the world. Because of this he joined the band "Red Hot Chili Peppers". This band is one of the most well known modern rock groups. Along with being in one of the biggest rock bands, he is also in other instrumental band that plays funk and fusion. Chad has also been put into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" as the drummer for the Chilies. Chad and Flea (bass player) were also featured in a UK rhythm magazine as 4 best rhythm section of all time. Chad has two main homes. This is because he divorced his first wife and remarried. Since he wants to spend time with his daughters he has 2 homes. When he is not touring around the world he has one home in New York where his first family lives and one beach house in Malibu. The next point will talk about why Chad is important to me.

Chad is my hero because he is a guy that I role model and want to be like in some aspects. Some of the aspect would be his incredible groove and abilities on the drums. He has made a difference in my life because I have a similar sound to Chad Smith when I play the drums in my band so I model Chad Smith's sound. He is also my hero because his band was able to start from nothing and work its way up into a band that has a very interesting sound and is massively successful.

For the reasons I have listed above Chad Smith is my hero. Those reasons were his incredible groove on the drums and ability to make music that most people like and being a part of my favorite band.
