I think a hero is a person that someone can look up to, a person who leads you to do good things .
It is important to have a hero because some people need an extra person to help them hold theirselves up. At the same time, it's not important to have a hero because no one can make you want to do something, you have to have faith in yourself first.
My mom is my hero because all through my life she has been teaching me so many important things . The most important thing I learned from her was that you don't need an extra person to hold you up if you have faith in yourself and God. I have realized that my whole life because my dad went to jail when I was young and my mom has held things down on her own ever since. As the time went on, I realized that my mom is a strong woman and she won't let anything stop her..
I honestly think my mom should be in a Hall of Fame for heroes because I feel like no other parent can raise their child as well as she raised me without any help from anyone .

Her brother Edward .
Why do you call this person a hero? Her brother protected her from a lot of things and always told her what's right in this world.
If you had a chance would you repay your hero?She says she would repay him but he died before I was born so she didn't really get a chance too.
What would you repay your hero with? She would have helped him if he ever needed something.
Have you ever done something wrong and your hero told you so? Yes I did a lot. That's why he told me what's right in this world and what's wrong .
How many times has your hero helped you ? So many that she lost count.
Why do you think your hero helped you out of all people ?Maybe because I was his little sister and he really cared about us and didn't want us on the streets.
Have you ever done a hero's project during school ?Yeah, in middle school but it wasn't for English, it was for history.
What do you think a hero is ?She believes a hero is someone that is good to others or that is willing to give up his own life to save another like her brother did.
What is the first thing you think about when you hear the word hero? She thinks of her brother.
