Christian Gonzales

I chose Gonzales, because he is the most popular football player in Indonesia. His full name is Christian Genard Alfaro Gonzales. He was born in Montevideo Uruguay, August 30 1976. His Father's name is Eduardo Alfaro, he is in the military. His Mother is Meriam Gonzales, she is a nurse in Montevideo Hospital. People call Christian Gonzales El Loco, because he always makes a goal in every match in Indonesia. He has become a top scorer in Indonesia Super League. His position is a striker. He became Muslim when he married Eva Siregar from Indonesia. He has four children, the first one is a daughter whose name is Amanda Gonzales, the second is Michael Gonzales, the third is Fernando Alvaro, and the last is Vanesa Siregar Gonzales.

Gonzales first joined an Indonesian club in PSM Makassar in 2003-2005, then from 2005 to 2008 he played for PERSIK Kediri. From 2008 to 2011 he played for PERSIB Bandung. He has been a top scorer for 4 years. In PERSIB Bandung he performed well because he wanted to become Indonesian and he wanted to join the Indonesia National Team because he loves Indonesia. He finally became Indonesian on November 1st, 2010. Because of him, Indonesia was a runner up in the AFF Suzuki CUP. He scored 3 goals in six matches.
