My hero is Cal Ripken, Jr. Cal Ripken, Jr. was a baseball player who donated money to help people learn to read and people with Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). Cal Ripken, Jr. lives in Maryland. Cal Ripken, Jr. was born in 1960 and he is still living today. Cal Ripken, Jr. is important to me because he is respectful and that is one of my favorite traits.
