Vince Carter one of NBA's best players.He was born on January 26 1977,Daytona,Florida.Through his life he made a lot of decisions.After elemantry school, he played on the basketball team and also played the saxophone.After high school,Vince was offered a Music scholarship and a sports scholarship. He decided to take the sports. The University Of Carolina had the honour of having Vince in the basketball team. Vince was then drafted into the NBA. At his University, Vince used his basketball skills to lead the Tarheels to two back-to-back final four appearances. Sadly his team his team didn't win, but it made the NBA scouts look at him. He was picked no.5 overall from the Golden State Warriors. He was quickly traded to Toronto Raptors he was picked no.15. In the Toronto Raptors, he earned respect.

In 1998 he won rookie of the year. For the 2000 sydney olympics he was chosen to play for U.S.A after Tom Guliotta hurt his knee. As being one of the top players he helped the team win a gold medal. He created and supports the Embassy of Hope Foundation, organizes summer All-star games for charity, and runs a basketball camp for kids. All these things makes Vince Carter a true Hero.
