Hernan Cortes

Do you know what a hero is? A hero is someone that is nice and generous. They are not mean and selfish. A lot of heroes are thoughtful and friendly. My hero is Hernan Cortes who was born in Spain, lived in Cuba and was an explorer in Mexico.

My hero is Hernan Cortes and he is very famous person. He was born in 1485 and died 1597. His father was an infantry captain.

Hernan Cortes became a secretary for governor Velázquez. In 1518, Velázquez put him in charge of an exploration to make some of Mexico into colonies. He brought Spanish people to live in Mexico City and also helped build the city. He made a Spanish rule to all of Mexico. These are some of the things that Hernan Cortes accomplished.
