David Baszucki

If I were to describe David Baszucki in 6 words I would say "Game-Creator, Empathetic, Creative, Kind, and Helpful". I celebrate technology heroes who make life easier like David Baszucki who made children's lives better by making one game.

David Baszucki is a businessman and was born in 1963. He was a General Motors scholar in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Today, his job is all about one game and the game is called Roblox. Roblox is is an massive online multiplayer game that is marketed toward children and teenagers aged 8-16. David has not just made this game for fun but even education.  Roblox can help with math and literacy and more subjects. Roblox can be played on Microsoft Window, Mac OS X, ipad 2+, iPhone 4, iPod touch 5th generation. David has put his whole effort in while creating this game.

David inspired me because I was influenced with his creativeness, empathy, and commitment. He is creative because he made a whole game with cool and awesome designs. He is empathetic by helping others if they have any problem or any hard situation.  There is also another reason why he is empathetic.  He really felt sad and totally sorry for his friend "Eric Cassel" who helped hm with Roblox even when Eric was going through cancer.  Eric was a patient guy, he was so patient that he even when he had cancer he was confident to work on Roblox.  Sadly, Eric died on 12/11/2013. David really was sad when he died, he was confident and wanted to achieve Eric's dream of making Roblox a better game.  So David achieved the goal of Eric and worked on Roblox to make it popular and made it better so more people can join.

Before David Baszucki was working on Roblox  he founded the now defunct company "Knowledge Revolution. At Knowledge Revolution, he helped create a physics simulator called "Interactive Physics, which later sold tons of copies.

I will follow the footsteps of David Baszucki and try to be creative, empathetic and committed. David has made a great change in my life.  I will always be inspired by him and follow the lead of my hero!!!
