Do you like to swim? Or wanting to be a lifeguard and save peoples lives? If you said yes, you would like my hero Dianne Croteau. Dianne invented the new CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) mannequin. She had help from Richard Brault and Johnathon Vinden. Did you know inventors make many mistakes even though they can be really famous for what they did? That's exactly what happened to my hero Dianne Croteau. She didn't get famous but she is special in my heart. She is special in my heart because she invented something to save humans lives and I thought what she invented was cool.

My Hero, Dianne Croteau was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 1962. Dianne's family members are Paul Croteau and Maureen Croteau, her grandparents, her husband and partner, Richard Brault. She graduated from the Industrial Design Department at Carelton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She and her partners started their spectacular journey at The Studio Innova in 1984. This is where she invented the Actar 911. Fun Fact: She met Richard Brault and Johnathon Vinden in 1983 and have been in school together ever since.

I chose Dianne Croteau to be my hero because she helped create something that can save people's lives all around the world. I also chose my hero because she is a girl and it shows me that if I work hard that I can be considered someones hero as well. Dianne was born in the same city where some of my family was born, raised and still lives there. I also chose her because she is a Canadian science hero.

My hero Dianne Croteau has many strong and first class character traits. The character traits she has are hard working, perseverance because she never gives up, inclusiveness because she works well with others also she included her part partners and was fair, optimistic because she looks at the bright side of things and hopes for the future cooperation, because she cooperated with Richard and Johnathon and learned how to work with them caring, because she cares if someone is feeling bad. I hope to have all these character traits that will help me become a better student and person as I grow up.

My hero influences me because it shows me that if i work hard at something, that i can become someone's hero as well. What she did was awesome and cool. When I did my research on my Hero it made me want to learn more about her and it made me happy knowing that she has such an impact and positive effect around the world and maybe one day I can do the same and invent things too. At first I thought she just did it to become famous but now I know she did it for health reasons. She also  influences me because she is a girl and she tells me that girls can invent too and that boys always don't have to always invent girls can too. Dianne got influenced by her school and her students and her teachers. She changed her life because if she did not get influenced she wouldn't influence me.

In conclusion, no matter what anyone says or feels about my hero, she has a special place in my heart and I respect that. I hope that she continues to have an impact around the world. The spectacular Actar 911 mannequin is awesome.
