One of his most influential books that Dan has written is Way of the Peaceful Warrior. In this book Dan tells his personal experience of life. While awakening from a recurring dream of a gray haired man. Dan decided to go on a midnight walk. Dan came across an all-night service station. Something inside of Dan made him walk into the gas station. Inside Dan found the old man that has been in his dreams. Socrates is the name Dan gave to the wise old man that set Dan on his life journey to find the way of the peaceful warrior. Dan’s books have given me a whole new outlook on life I am more happy, healthy and a much more positive person. I respect the earth more and I am thankful for being alive. I no longer take lightly the home I am given, the music I hear, the food and water that gives me life, and now I no longer take for granted the ability to learn through living.
Dan Millman is a true gift to all that have read any of his books. He gives hope and excitement to life, a whole new meaning to living. He has also given me a feeling of peace that I have never felt before. The Way of a Peaceful Warrior is truly a book that changes lives. Now when a negative situation presents itself in my life I stop, take a deep breath and discover what I can learn from this situation and I create a positive reaction. Thank you Dan and Joy Millman and thank you Socrates wherever your soul has rested. “Every man dies but only few truly live.” Dan Millman has truly lived.
